Which banks are supported?+
Effectively all of them. The tool reads statements visually rather than matching against a known template list. If a person can read the PDF, the model can read it.
What file types can I upload?+
PDF, CSV, XLSX, XLS, TXT, OFX, and QFX. Up to 15MB per file.
Is my data private?+
Yes — your data belongs to you, not to us. Statements are processed in memory and are never persisted to a long-term database. Any temporary file used during conversion travels over TLS, is isolated to your session, and is automatically purged within 24 hours. We never share, sell, or use your statements to train AI models, and no human at StatementSnap reads them.
Do you keep my converted spreadsheet?+
No. Once you download the Excel or CSV, the result is gone from our side — we keep no copy of the extracted transactions. If you re-upload the same statement later, it is processed again from scratch.
Is the upload encrypted?+
Yes. Every upload and download runs over HTTPS / TLS 1.2+. Files are processed in an isolated workload and are not accessible to other users.
Do you sell my data or use it to train AI?+
Never. We do not sell, rent, or share uploaded files or extracted data with anyone, and we do not use your statements to train any machine-learning model — ours or a third party's.
How accurate is the extraction?+
On native digital PDFs, accuracy is consistently above 99% per field. On scanned statements, accuracy depends on image quality.
Will the output work with QuickBooks, Xero, or other accounting software?+
Yes. CSV uses ISO dates and numeric amounts that import cleanly into QuickBooks Online, Xero, FreshBooks, Wave, FreeAgent, and Sage.
Will pack credits expire?+
No. Pack credits never expire — they stay on your balance with no time limit until you use them.
Can I cancel the monthly plan anytime?+
Yes. You can cancel your subscription whenever you need to — from the Stripe customer portal in one click. You keep access through the end of the current billing period and will not be charged again.
Do you offer refunds?+
No. All purchases are final and non-refundable, since each conversion uses paid compute the moment it runs. You stay in control of recurring costs: cancel the monthly plan at any time and you will not be billed for the next period. If a conversion fails for a technical reason on our side, the credit is restored to your balance automatically — no refund needed.
